STARTING POINT

Which requirements do we need to pass on to which partner

Parts of a system or project are purchased or subcontracted. The customer requirements for them must be selected, reviewed, and passed on without internal assessments going along.

Manual breakdown

Requirements are picked out of the customer documents by hand for every trade.

Scattered queries

Supplier queries run via email and phone and do not find their way back to the requirement.

Quotes that are hard to compare

If every partner receives different documents, the responses are hard to compare.

GUIDED WORKFLOW

Compile a reviewed package from the overall requirements

Four steps as they occur for outsourced trades and purchased assemblies. Select a step. Only what you select and release is shared.

Frequently asked questions

How does DECOTA support supplier inquiries?

Your team compiles the relevant requirements and released attachments into a supplier package. Suppliers then have a traceable basis for their response. Answering and clarifying supplier questions directly inside DECOTA is currently being expanded.

Are all documents shared automatically?

Only the content selected and released for that particular supplier is shared. Internal assessments and cost calculations are not carried over automatically. Your team decides which technical documents and contract terms belong in the package.

How does DECOTA support the comparison of supplier responses?

A shared requirements baseline makes it easier to compare scope, deviations, and open items. Side-by-side comparison of supplier responses and prices inside DECOTA is under development. Commercial evaluation and the review of contract terms stay with the responsible departments.
