The platform for requirements, product knowledge, and compliance
THE STARTING POINT
A customer inquiry, a specification or a tender is often just the beginning in industrial project business. Requirements have to be understood, matched against existing products and services, and checked for technical, commercial and regulatory risks.
This usually involves several departments contributing different information and perspectives. Before a well-founded decision is possible, documents have to be reviewed, assessments aligned and results brought together.
Eight typical steps that recur when complex inquiries are handled.

No single step causes the high effort. It is the combination of manual work, repeated coordination, scattered information and assessments that have to be brought together again and again.
On top of that, existing knowledge from earlier inquiries is often not reused systematically.
THE PLATFORM
DECOTA is a B2B software platform for companies that handle complex customer inquiries, tenders, specifications, and bills of quantities. The platform extracts and structures requirements, checks them against internal guidelines and standards, and matches them with products, services, and existing company knowledge.
DECOTA brings together requirements, expert assessments and existing company knowledge. The platform helps teams recognize relationships faster, check critical points early and identify suitable products or solutions.
Requirements from different documents become workable in one place. The team keeps the link to the source and can bring existing knowledge into the assessment.
Requirements can be evaluated against stored guidelines. Sources and documented decisions support the expert review.
The team compares requirements with product features and sees which solution fits in principle and where technical clarification is needed.
All three capabilities work on one shared data foundation.

SAMPLE DATAOperation at −30 °C
Source: Stator line specification v2.1 · page 67 · section 6.4
SPECIFIED TEMPERATURE RANGE
−20 to +50 °C
Data sheet TL-Modular v4.2
The required −30 °C is below the specified range. Technical clarification is needed before a statement can be made.
SPECIFIED TEMPERATURE RANGE
−40 to +50 °C
Data sheet TL-Arctic v2.0
The specified range includes the required −30 °C. This feature is covered.
Only a single feature is assessed here. A covered temperature requirement is not a release of the product for the entire inquiry. That depends on all remaining requirements and the expert decision.
USE CASES
Not every team starts with the same question. Sales, engineering, product management, and compliance approach the same requirements from different sides. The platform stays the same, the entry point differs.
INDUSTRIES
Every industry works with its own standards, document formats, and evidence requirements. DECOTA processes complex inquiries in your industry’s document formats.

"DECOTA gives our customers clarity about which requirements their products meet, where gaps remain, and what needs to be clarified next."
You upload the documents you have. DECOTA proposes requirements from them, each with a reference to document, page, and section. Your team reviews and completes these proposals. From that point on, you work with lists, filters, ownership, and approvals as in any business application.
Copilot, ChatGPT, and RFP tools support analysis and drafting answers. DECOTA adds a persistent, structured data foundation and multi-agent orchestration. Specialized agents take on defined tasks such as analysis, review, matching, or summarization. Requirements, sources, assessments, guidelines, and product knowledge remain traceably linked. This turns individual AI answers into a reusable, controllable process.
DECOTA visibly distinguishes between a suggestion, an assessment under review, and an expert-confirmed assessment. Every assessment includes the linked sources and the processing history. The expert decision itself is made by the responsible people in your company.
Because requirements, guidelines, and product features are linked, you can narrow down which existing assessments are affected by a change and should be revisited. The reassessment itself remains an expert task.
No. The AI speeds up extraction and assignment and provides suggestions. The platform can also be used without this support, in which case requirements and features are captured and assessed manually.
DECOTA offers a REST API for connecting to existing systems. Which interfaces make sense and are possible in your case is something we clarify based on your system landscape. We only commit to the availability of a specific integration once it has been verified.
Yes. DECOTA is not tied to a single provider of AI language models. The platform supports different providers as well as locally operated models. This lets you adapt the choice of model to your requirements for quality, cost, and data protection. We work with you to determine which models are suitable for your use cases.
DECOTA supports different model providers and the configuration of your own provider accounts. Locally operated models can also be integrated. An additional connection to your own model servers is currently under review. Together we clarify how your existing AI infrastructure can be used for the intended use cases.

Depending on data, integrations, and use case, productive use is typically possible within a few weeks. We plan the start date together with you.
Yes. A pilot with your own documents and a clearly scoped use case is possible. Get in touch and we will agree on scope and duration with you.
Yes. DECOTA is built for companies that deliver customer-specific projects and therefore have to assess specifications, tenders, and complex customer inquiries, for example in mechanical and plant engineering, automotive supply, or construction and infrastructure. Technical project requirements are captured with their source, checked against guidelines, and matched with products, variants, and earlier projects. The technical decision stays with your team.
Your data remains yours. Even after the contract ends, you can retrieve requirements, assessments, and links in structured form, including via the REST API, and transfer them to other systems.
